TIL A lawyer named Bob Mullally leaked documents proving the LAPD was covering up dozens of cases where officers were committing rape, child abuse and domestic violence. In 2002 he was sentenced to 45 days in prison for leaking the documents while no cop he exposed was ever charged with any crime.
