Think about it: We in the US say we are NOT a "police state." We're just the citizens of the country that has the most people in prison, and where our clothing (e.g. TSA friendly laptop backpacks) are designed specifically for the police. But we tell ourselves we're the "land of the free..."

Please discuss other ways that it is blatantly obvious we live in a police state, but that we're indoctrinated to think of it in a different way.
