In 2013 Donald Taylor of PGPD hit teen Ryan Dorm with his service weapon causing it to discharge. Taylor then claimed the firearm had discharged as a result of Dorm taking and firing his weapon during a struggle. Despite surveillance footage surfacing showing this was a lie, Taylor was acquitted.
